Welcome to my home program! My name is Maayan and I am so happy to share my love of singing, nature and play-based learning with your precious little ones. This has been a dream of mine since I began working in the Davis Waldorf preschool in 2016.

I graduated from UCSC with a BA in Anthropology in 2010, and finished the Foundation Studies in Anthroposophy at BACWTT in 2020. In December 2021 I graduated from the Lifeways Certification Training, a sister program of Waldorf which specializes in the early childhood years of 0-3. I also have 15 units in Early Childhood Education from Sacramento City College and hold a certificate in Infant and Pediatric CPR, First Aid, AED and Health and Safety for childcare providers.

My mother, whom the children refer to lovingly as Cookie, is a regular volunteer at the program. She has 30 years of experience working as a teacher in grades K-3, bringing lots of songs, games and joy to the program! She has a BA in Human Development and a Masters degree in Education.
