Welcome to my home! My name is Maayan and I am so happy to share my love of children, nature, play and art with your precious little ones. This has been a dream of mine since I began working in a Waldorf preschool in 2017.

I graduated from UCSC with a BA in Anthropology in 2010, and finished the Foundation Studies in Anthroposophy at BACWTT in 2020. I am currently enrolled in Lifeways program, a sister program of Waldorf which specializes in the early childhood years of 0-3. I also studied Early Childhood Education at Sacramento City College and hold a certificate in Infant and Pediatric CPR, First Aid and Health and Safety for childcare providers.

My mother, whom the children refer to lovingly as Cookie, is a regular volunteer at the program. She brings 30 years of experience working as a public school teacher in grades K-3, and lots of songs, games and joy to the program! She has a BA in Human Development and a Masters degree in Education.
